Founder & Senior Pastor,

My relationship with Christ and my marriage, my children, my calling to preach the gospel and also the church members are certainly at the top of the list ranked among “things of importance”. I am sure that you have your own compiled list of things that really mean the most to you, but please allow me to add something else to your list of “things of importance”, and that is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Many times this great and awesome truth finds itself competing with created things for a position of importance. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15.3 that this in as extreme, unprecedented, unequal and uncontested truth which deserves to be at the top of our list of things that are of most importance to us. Our Savior’s Resurrection from the Dead is our deliverance, our justification, our hope, our freedom, our strength and our joy and peace, but most of all, our salvation.
After enlisting in the United States Marine Corp in 1981, he served four years and afterwards in 1986 he began his employment with the Federal Government at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.

Afterwards he became an active member of Shining Star Baptist Church in Chase, Maryland under his Pastor’s leadership, Pastor James Johnson. The Lord spoke to his heart, in 1991, to prepare for ministry and he humbly accepted the call.
